Here is a short overview of how our wedding day will unfold. Exact timing may change slightly, but this is the plan for now.
Our wedding day will take place at two locations in and around Gothenburg: The Church for our ceremony, and our reception Venue where we will celebrate together.
We would love for the day to feel a little extra special. The dress code is Classy & Elegant – think modern, polished and festive.
What to wear
A good guideline is cocktail / semi-formal:
- For Women: Dresses or elegant jumpsuits, dressy two-piece outfits, heels or nice flats.
- For Men: Suit or dress pants with blazer, shirt, and dress shoes. Tie is welcome but not required.
Feel free to choose colors you love. Soft, timeless tones and classic styles will fit nicely with the evening.
What to avoid
To help the bride stand out, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing pure white or very bridal ivory. Very casual clothing (hoodies, sneakers, shorts, etc.) is also best kept at home.
If you are unsure about your outfit, don’t worry – your presence is what matters most.
Our wedding will be a mix of Bulgarian and Lebanese traditions – a celebration full of music, rhythm and a lot of dancing. You can expect both classic party hits and songs that are close to our hearts.
During the evening there will be a traditional Lebanese zaffe entrance, energetic dabke, lots of Bulgarian horo and more surprises along the way. You absolutely don’t need to know the steps – just join in, follow the crowd and enjoy the moment.
Warm up for the big day with our wedding playlist – a mix of songs we love, dance-floor classics, and music that brings together Lebanese, Bulgarian and international vibes.
Your presence on our wedding day is the greatest gift we could ask for. We truly don’t expect anything more.
However, if you would like to honour us with a present, we would be deeply grateful for a contribution to our honeymoon and future dreams together.
Practical details about how to give will be shared closer to the wedding date.
If you are spending a bit more time around our wedding, here are a few of our favourite places and classic Gothenburg experiences. Perfect for a relaxed weekend before or after the big day.
